Cottage City Community Garden is hosting a Fall Clean-Up with the Port Towns Youth Council (PTYC) on Saturday, October 8th, between 9am 12pm. All are welcome to volunteer and help us continue to improve the Cottage City Community Garden. Middle School and High School students can receive service-learning credit for their participation. The PTYC will be weeding and spreading mulch and soil in the garden. Come and talk to fellow gardeners and learn tips for starting a winter garden. Light breakfast and lunch will be served for all volunteers. Families are welcome! We look forward to seeing you there!
El Jardin Comunitario de Cottage City les invita a la limpieza del otoño que se llevará acabo el Sábado, 8 de Octubre, entre las 9am-12pm con jóvenes y padres del Port Towns Youth Council (PTYC). Todos son bienvenidos a ser voluntarios y ayudar a seguir mejorando el jardín. Estudiantes de la escuela media y secundaria pueden recibir crédito de aprendizaje-servicio para su participación.Padres y jóvenes del PTYC ayudaran en arrancar monte y mala hierba y llenar las camas con tierra. Venga y hable con jardineros sobre cómo preparar su jardín para el invierno. Desayuno y almuerzo ligero será servido para todos los voluntarios. Las familias son bienvenidas! Esperamos verlos allí!
