Are you interested in learning more about your town and meeting your neighbors, while also learning how to grow and prepare your own foods!? If your answer is yes, then we would love to have you at the Cottage City Community Garden!
Each year as a group, we help to plant and tend to the community that we know, love, and cherish. By partnering with the Port Towns Youth Council, Prince George’s County Master Gardeners, Prince George’s County Planning Department, ECO City Farms, University of Maryland, Friends and Food, and other local community groups, we’ve been able to host amazing workshops that help others learn about the importance of food and nutrition, stormwater management, and physical activity, while also having tons of fun!
