For millions of Americans, gardening is much more than a hobby—it is a passion. Unfortunately, climate change is threatening the gardening experience across the country. Fortunately, there are actions that you can take to be part of the solution—even while gardening.
Join the Cottage City Community Garden for ADAPTING YOUR GARDEN FOR CLIMATE CHANGE, our next amazing workshop, held in partnership with the University of Maryland’s Master Gardener program. The session will be held on SATURDAY AUGUST 24th at 10am in the Cottage City Community Garden (4222 Cottage Terrace; Cottage City).
During this session, you will learn what steps to take to adapt your garden to warming temperatures and increased or unpredictable rainfall events. You’ll also learn how gardeners can be part of the solution. For more information visit the Cottage City Garden online at Cottagecitygarden.com or on Instagram @cottagecitygarden.
