Don’t miss out on the NEW Port Town’s Farmers Market starting in Bladensburg on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the corner of 58th Avenue & Emerson Street right next to the Port Towns Elementary School.
This is an important community service for Bladensburg and the Port Towns offering a food shopping opportunity with produce which is locally grown and fresh.
Remember that Bladensburg has been designated a “food desert” by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the lack of fresh healthy food outlets is one of the criteria for inclusion in a Transforming Neighborhood Initiatives area.
SNAP/WIC vouchers are accepted!
