Can you believe it!? It’s already June and we’re nearly at the mid-point for the growing season and the Summer Solstice or the longest day of the year.
SATURDAY WORKSHOP – June 9 at 10:00am
This Saturday, we’re having a workshop on Strawbale Gardening and a recipe swap on eating food from our garden. Liz Marshall, a County Master Gardener will conduct the workshop, it begins promptly at 10:00am. Please bring a dish or recipe to share as a friend.
GARDEN DUES
Dues for each garden bed is $10.00 season. If you have not yet paid for your bed, please contact Anne Riveria or myself to make arrangements to pay.

Anne Riveria has created a watering schedule for the team. Please look at the schedule below to confirm your time! As the weather gets hotter we’ll need to keep up with this!
FISH PEPPERS GROWING
As mentioned during our recent meeting, we’re going to try to grow fish peppers this year. These peppers, often referred to as the Horace Pippin Pepper or Buena Mulata is native to Maryland. We’ll be working with a collective of farmers to grow and sale the peppers!
